Like the other mathematical and scientific societies mentioned above, the DPG promotes scientific purposes. It is entered in the register of associations of the Siegburg Local Court under register number VR 90474 and is exempt from corporation tax pursuant to § 5 Para. 1 No. 9 KStG because it is exclusively and directly tax-privileged for charitable purposes within the meaning of §§ 51 et seq. of the German Corporation Tax Act. AO serves.
